This assignment provides a forum for discussing relevant topics for this week on the basis of the course competencies covered.

For this assignment, make sure you post your initial response to the Discussion Area by the due date assigned.

To support your work, use your course and text readings and also use the South University Online Library. As in all assignments, cite your sources in your work and provide references for the citations in Turabian format.

One of the current theological issues between Mormons and Christians is the place of grace in relation to works (salvation contrasted with exaltation). Summarize the Mormon view and then contrast it with a traditional Christian perspective.

Much of the interactions between Mormons and Christians have been tense and confrontational. In more recent years, relational and dialogical (incarnational apologetic) encounters have been practiced by some Christians. Share your perceptions of this shift in interaction.
